An jeden Jahrestag ihres Kennenlernens schreiben Emma und ihr Mann Dan sich gegenseitig einen Brief. Zwischen Hobbies, Beruf und Kindern hat Emma dies aber bereits ein Mal vergessen. Als es ihr nun wieder passiert kommt es zum Streit. Dan stürmt nach draußen, wird von einem vorbeifahrenden Auto erfasst und stirbt vor Emmas Augen. Als sie am Morgen nach dieser schrecklichen Nacht erwacht kann sie es kaum fassen. Dan liegt neben ihr im Bett. Der gleiche Tag beginnt von neuem. Doch egal, was sie tut, Dan stirbt wieder. Und wieder. Und wieder. In dieser Zeitschleife gefangen gibt Emma alles, um ihr Leben in die richtige Bahn zu lenken. Wieso streiten ihre Kinder auf einmal?
