Sea Witch

Say hello to my second favorite book I read this year! Similar to Marissa Meyer's "Heartless", Sarah Henning created this wonderful world full of magic and a story, which makes you wish that what you already know is going to happen.. Won't happen. But ofc it does and it's going to rip your heart out. Also I love that the Author put real stuff in it and Danish/Norse word's which gives it a more magical feeling. I didn't want this book to end but unfortunately my hunger for it was bigger. Well deserved 5 stars 👏

When I picked up this book unexpected it to be as dark as Hans Christian Andersen’s Little Mermaid. Despite the lag I felt in the middle, I had the determination to see it through and I’m glad I did. The plot twist I think is what makes the book, where the darkness truly comes in. I would be interested in reading future books from this author.

Falls euch Maleficent gefallen hat - der Film mit Angelina Jolie - dann könnte euch auch Sea Witch von Sarah Henning gefallen. Genau wie Maleficent wird in Sea Witch die Vorgeschichte von der bösen Meerhexe aus der kleinen Meerjungfrau erzählt.Ich habe die Geschichte sehr genossen, da sie sowohl auf dem Meer als im Königreich spielt. Die Neuerzählung der Geschichte wird aus der wechselnden Perspektive der Hauptcharaktere erzählt. Im Buch gibt es zahlreiche Wendungen, die mich überrascht haben, und die ich absolut nicht kommen sehen habe.
