About James R. Doty

Dr. James R. Doty war ein international renommierter Professor für Neurochirurgie an der Universität von Stanford, sowie Leiter des Center for Compassion and Altruism Research and Education (CCARE). Doty hat weltweit Kliniken gegründet, seine Spenden an Wohltätigkeitsorganisationen belaufen sich auf hohe Millionenbeträge. Er war Gastprofessor an mehreren Universitäten und für zahlreiche Stiftungen und Nonprofit-Organisationen tätig, u.a. für die Dalai Lama Foundation. Er starb im Juli 2025.
