About Dörte Thomsen

Dörte Thomsen born in 1965, grew up on a farm in Aukrug in Schleswig-Holstein, Germany. She also played handball there for 30 years. She trained as a bank clerk and worked in the profession for 15 years. She played theater in the low German language for a long time. She loves the Low German language and poems Hermann Claudius. Her hobbies include sport, theater, painting, reading and playing cards. She discovered writing as a way of expressing her grief after the loss of her son. She has lived with her husband and children in the Aukrug Nature Park on a large farm for 30 years.
