I love the Story! Avery and her brother live outside of the wards with her fathers. The mother got killed a couple of years ago. Avery and her Family fight against wraiths on the streets. but Avery share her soul with a rare beast. and she and her brother are going to college and try to get into the guardian program. I love how badass and nice Avery is. She is a sweetheart at her core but she can be vicious to protect her loved ones. her relationship with Ian is so great and I love everything aboht it. while reading the book i could feel the draw she feels to the guys and the heartache. it's such a great description and storytelling. And the Cliffhanger! I can't wait for book 2!

Avery (FMC) ist so unglaublich stark für ihr Alter und verbirgt ein Geheimnis, welches sie umbringt, wenn andere es erfahren. Es war unfassbar spannend rauszufinden welche Shifterform sie ist. Habe so viel gerätselt, aber auf das Tier wäre ich nicht gekommen. Die Gespräche zwischen Avery und ihrem Bruder Ian? Ich hab Tränen gelacht. So stell ich mir Geschwister vor. Und die Jungs? Heath, Aiden, Wyatt und Eliyah sind alle auf ihre Art besonders. Stand jetzt ist Eliyah bei mir auf Platz 1. 🤭 Das Ende hat einen Cliffhanger, aaaaaaber ich finde ihn ok und aushaltbar. Wäre trotzdem schön, wenn Band 2 jetzt schon zu lesen wäre. ✨💕
