Well… apart from the fact that I cried a lot, I loved this book.
The storytelling and the plot was very good, and there wasn’t a single moment where I thought it was a slog to keep reading.
I won’t say much about the details of the book—you’ll have to find out for yourself ;)
All I can say is that I strongly advise reading the trigger warnings.

No comment on the story, that would spoil everything.
The playlist, audiobook, and story are amazing!I didn't see that twist coming at all. From then on, my thoughts were really racing.
There are several scenes in the book that made me cry. But there's one I'll never forget. I reread it afterward, with the song listed. *Emotional damage*, for me as a reader. For Finn and Riddick...
What started real slow, leaves me devastated and dehydrated (cried so hard)…
Really, as it started with a whole alphabet of terms related to surfing, I nearly lost it. Then the story begun, and it started reeeeeal slow. During the first 3-5 chapters I started wondering if I ever will end this book, or if I want to start another one. But there were so many 5star ratings, even from other readers I’ve trust…. Though I wondered if it will catch me too. And with every 5-10% it captivated me more. When the plot twist finally dropped (you didn’t have to wait till the end, but make sure you prepared with something to catch tears) I couldn’t lay it down. I ended it with so many tears, it was a really heavy, hard-earned, alternative HEA.
Anyways, i will always recommend to read trigger-warnings if you struggle with something, but be aware, it will spoil everything in this one.
I started it without reading the blurb or any warnings, and I thought i will read a cozy summer book with a lot of smut and love, and let’s just say, if you expect that, I can tell you that you’ll get that, but not only that… there is so much more.
This is one of the books, that you only can read once without looking different at it.
I hope you’ll enjoy your journey to stars cove. Just be safe, or you will leave your heart there…
