i swear, Kyra writes the BEST romance book banters ever. <spoiler> This one is the literal opposite of the first book. I mean, DUDE IS HEAD OVER HEELS FOR HER ever since their first encounter. I can't even begin to start talking about how much pining he's done for her and how she just kept on insistjng that they just stay 'friends'.. AS IF. I could not care much about most of the side characters in this one as much as the first one but it's still a very fun book to read. I loved reading how jealous he got over the sushi dude. </spoiler>

Ich hab’s GELIEBT! Konnte es nicht aus der Hand legen und nachdem ich am Anfang dachte, wird nicht sooo gut wie Band 1 wurde ich SLAP eines besseren belehrt 😀💕🥹 Kyra schreibt mit soviel Banter, Tension und Witz, dass man heimlich hofft, die Enemies werden nicht zu Lovern 😀 Und was ich ganz besonders liebe, sind die ganzen liebevollen, fürsorgenden Nebencharaktere, die auch in diesem Buch so richtig fürs Herz waren. Dieses Buch hat mich zum weinen gebracht - Stichwort Bibliothek 📚 , ich habe lauthals gelacht 🦔 und die Spice Szenen 🌶️ einfach nur eingeatmet 😀 Bin gespannt auf Band 3, aber die Autorin war direkt am Anfang des Jahres ein Glücksgriff bei KU ♥️

This was the second book by her I read and I never thought another book could ever reach the amount of feelings I had while reading "A Deal with the bossy Devil", but Kyra Parsi proved me otherwise. This book was just as perfect, It gave me all the feels, laughing, crying, giggling, kicking my feet and going crazy by all the tension, the banter and the cuteness (Jamie and Jackson were so so cute together, I just can't). I love the characters, the story, our spoiled Toebeans Maguire, everything about it. Thank you for this experience! I'm so excited for the next book by Kyra Parsi I'll read, I'm still obsessed. I'm not gonna tell more except from: JUST READ IT!

Das Buch startet mit wunderbaren Schlagabtausch zw den Protagonisten und vielen lustigen Szenen. Später werden sie mit ernsten Szenen verwoben, womit die Geschichte in die Tiefe geht und auch eine Charakterentwicklung stattfindet. Nicht zu viele, aber gut geschriebene spicy Szenen. Ich fands gut, dass die Hauptperson ziemlich selbstreflektiert wirkte und auch klar ihre Gedanke kommunizierte.
