Before I start I must say that I really liked this book, but for me it is unfortunately the weakest one in the Forbidden Goals Series so far…🙊 I really liked the whole “feuding family” aspect and the fact that Marcus and Ashton slowly unraveled the whole reason behind the hostility between their families and I absolutely loved Ash’s character development (I do think this is one of the best ones I’ve ever read so far). I also enjoyed the whole love story between them (from when they were kids till the present time) and I also think that the Second Chance was done well. For me the story kinda dragged on after a while which made it a bit more boring than the other books so far…The ending and the epilogue on the other hand was so so good and gave the book a really nice finish! 🤭 Even though it was the “weakest” I would still recommend it to you especially if you love a hot verse couple with really nice pet names 👀

So muss eine Sport-Romance sein! Viele Emotionen, Gefühle und Spannung. Es prickelt regelrecht zwischen den Charakteren 💥. Es ist toll mit zu erleben wie Marcus und Ashton zusammen kommen. Ashton hat sich regelrecht in mein Herz geschlichen, und mich immer wieder zum Schmunzeln gebracht 🫠. Ich mochte das Basketball-Setting sehr - Rebecca Rathe beschreibt die Welt so bildlich, dass man das Gefühl kriegt, man sitzt im Publikum an vorderster Front 🏀. Der Spice ist einmal mehr grossartig 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️! Ich liebe die „Forbidden-Goals“ Serie und freue mich auf jedes weitere Buch! This is what a sports romance should be like! Lots of emotions, feelings and tension. There is a real spark between the characters 💥. It is great to see how Marcus and Ashton come together. Ashton really crept into my heart and made me smile again and again 🫠. I really liked the basketball setting - Rebecca Rathe describes the world so vividly that you get the feeling you are sitting in the audience at the front 🏀. Spice is once again great 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️! I love the "Forbidden Goals" series and look forward to every new book!
