I liked this book in this series but I liked the second one better. I can’t even say why. I think because in this book they avoid that mate topic, I think they are mates but it’s not really talked about? A little bit confusing. But I really liked the siren nature of the FMC and how she perceives the world and the prejudice against siren. I also loved how he never judged her, not once ( and there where situations where I would have judged her maybe a little bit) he just went with the flow. A nice quick read and very wholesome
