I really love that we get a new get the story of two different characters for each book in this series but still get to revisit the characters from the previous books. I was all here for the realatively slow burn romance mixed in with a fair amount of tension and adventure. I felt like sometimes there was a lot of repition especially the characters referencing the same things (memories, character flaws etc) again and again but that did not reduce the fun while reading this book.
