Krimiklassiker!
This is the first time I correctly guessed who did it, but I'm not sure if that's a bad thing or if I'm getting rather good at it. It was still a lot of fun to get the individual clues and there were still a few mini-twists that I was excited about. Christie always manages to get a genuine reaction out of me while reading her mysteries, I can't not be engaged in them. There were a lot of tiny side plots and I think the interpersonal stuff in these books is almost always the best about them. However, I wish there was a little more focus on some of the side plots, a few could have needes that to be more fleshed out. It's not quite my favourite, but I see why people recommend this as a good place to start with Agatha Christie: it has a fascinating setting, fun characters, an interesting mystery with some excitement and introduces Poirot fairly well (even though I like him best around Hastings). Only thing is, I didn't care much for the other detective, but that's just not that important.
