Second Chance, childhood crush, gay romance between a hacker and an assassin
The focus was on Cas, the hacker, how has been hunted. Jonah did everthing he coud to help him. I don't know why but the chemestry between those two was not for me. There could be a little bit more hacking, like in the end and the beginning.
The assassin and the stray. Yep, a somewhat weird summary. Jonah, an assassin for hire, saves Caspian from the clutches of a pimp, takes him home, and after realising how smart the street kid is hopes to give him a chance to go the smart route - college, high paid job in IT, safe life. Unfortunately Cas has other plans that involve danger, money, and proving to Jonah that he is not just a kid. Not quite my usual premise but actually quite fun. As for trigger warnings - we are not dealing with an idealised Robin Hood, this assassin kills whoever he is told to.
