4.25⭐ I thought the time it took for them to get together was realistic and definitely a slow burn (which I love) I really loved the main characters and the side characters, Marley was my favorite. I've read multiple books by the author before and I always enjoy the writing. This one in particular I was flying through. My only complaint is that a lot of things weren't described or talked about in as much detail as they should've been imo. I feel like for a sports romance the game's weren't really detailed enough and it was really anticlimactic. Weeks or even months would pass between chapters and I felt like we were missing out on some stuff that I found important or would have enjoyed to read about.
