Quite a surprise. I was expecting a funny, light story, but this plot has brains behind it. Really liked it, once I got into the right mindset. Loved all the non-human characters (especially the appliances)! The execution of the audio book could have been better. Still enjoyed myself. Now that I'm immersed in the world, I'm actually interested in the next installment. Definitely qualifies for "A book with a robot, cyborg, AI [or sythetic humanoid] character".
