Mark gets shot at the library before Christmas, not remembering anything about the incident. Was it someone he annoyed recently or was his past catching up with him? Scarier than being shot is the tired and wary look of his his partner Stephen, has he had enough of being with a former spy? A very short Christmas story that not only deals with Mark's past, but more importantly with the foundation of his and Stephen's relationship. A very satisfying end to the spy-series.
