The Fright Night carnival the masks, the „haunted house“, the hide and seek and the pranks…all that gives me the Halloween vibes I hoped for. I had a lot of fun reading this book, I enjoyed the bully romance in it. Carter and Raine have a great chemistry. I only wished she would‘ve pushed back more. The masks gave me Devils Night vibes from time to time, but I think with comparing these books beyond that I would do Trick me twice a disservice. That‘s because I think it‘s different in a lot of ways, more bully romance and more High School setting. And I also think the concept of this book works out well. The spicy scenes are amazing. I felt them, and I enjoyed them. I already mentioned Raine wasn‘t as keen to push back, but how Carter pushed her is just great. Really nasty, I like it. There‘s also a storyline aside from that but I won‘t tell too much about that (and I was surprised this one excited me) Either way the book is a very good Halloween read, and I can imagine me rereading this one someday☺️🫶 4/5⭐️
