Hopeless Romantic starts off very strong, immediately drawing you into the story. However, as it progresses, the pacing picks up a bit too quickly, which takes away some of the emotional depth. Still, it's a charming read overall. It's especially recommended for fans of slow-burn romance, but also perfect for anyone looking for a short and sweet story to enjoy in between longer reads.

I'm quite on the fence about rating andthis book because I was hooked, I read it in a day, two sittings and I was done. So I can't say I disliked it, it would be a lie. But the story is pretty cliche and unrealistic overall. Bo falls in love with Millie when her face is shown on the jumbotron at his football game. Millie whom is apparently the best looking girl to have ever walked this earth, yet is the most shy person you'll ever meet and hates attention. I was a cute story, full dreamie moments, but it did lack some depth and realism in my opion.
