I honestly considered to DNF this book but I was too intrigued concerning the Jingle Wars contest. The characters pissed me off - Freya was (apparently) too sexy for her own good, offering men "a smirk that always leaves men wanting more". She has a weird way with words, e.g. using "WSE (wall-sex energy)" and "funyuns". She also annoyed the crap out of me. She constantly wore clothes that were not suitable for the cold, just for the sake of looking good. She wore UGGs in the SNOW, ffs! Freya was a really irratating character. Finn had no personality, except for the fact that he instantly had the hots for Freya. I also don't know if I had an incorrect version of the ebook but during a sex scene, he mentioned his "ball" - so he only has one? Maybe it's a funny typo. After spending a couple of days (weeks?) together, Finn immediately fell head over heels in love with Freya, referring to her as "my girl". Yuck. The contest itself was boring. The 2nd task - a scavanger hunt - was completely irrelevant to the story. It took less than 3 pages to complete it and it only served Finn's narrative (he told off a woman who had the hots for him).
