You’re the only woman I’ve ever loved and the only one I ever will.” unfortunately, it was wasted potential. everything felt boring, literally everything, the characters, the story, the smut. the only reason i finished reading this was because i liked the kid, he was actually cute and the only character that didn't make me roll my eyes.

This book was everything!! Just to be clear, just by seeing that lettter, hockey and second chance played a role in this book, I knew the book was going to be my favorite. Laura is a very strong woman who became pregnant at an early age. Her son Jack which is 5 is absolutly loving and you can only love him. He is sincere, caring and heartwarming. Another reason why Laura is such a strong woman is that her mother is in the hospital and isnt doing well. For her, her mother is like a best friend which she is missing a lot Alec is a hockey player, hot and affectionate. When he was younger he left Laura when she was pregnant and leaving her to raise Jack on her own. When both of them found each other again, my heart opened up, the two are definitely meant for each other. Alec not only used to be a romantic in which he wrote many love letters to Laura in the past but still is trying to win her back with big gestures. It was heartwarming to see the family reunited and have multiple experiences. I also found it important that lgbtq played a role in this book and it was made clear that Laura would do anything to support her own son and strength him against haters. For her it didn't matter who he loved as long as he was happy!
