The book mostly makes fun of german militarism, the faulty organization of big armies, and bureaucratic policies with dozen of loopholes if you're clever enough to find them.I still think part 1 and the revolt of Asch showed this best - part 2 & 3 were still fun to read, but not quite as memorable.
