This book showed me exactly one thing: I'm not one for biographies. It wasn't even bad written or anything, but just an endless loop of names of friends and family members and dates, dates and even more dates. At some point, I got so confused with all the names that I just stopped trying to keep up. So if you want to read this book: know what you're getting yourself into! I would only recommend it, if you're really interested in the life of Jane Austen and if you want to know what she was going through at what point of her life. Otherwise let me tell you; this is not for you.
