Most of us know Jane Austens six huge books: "Persuasion", "Sense and Sensibility", "Emma", "Mansfield Park", "Northanger Abby" and of cause "Pride and Prejudice", she also had works she never finished and just were published posthumous.  But did you know that she started to write when she was just a teenager?  This book is about her early works. The letter stories, her short stories and the History of England. Latest is totally amazing. Her tongue was so sarcastic and ironic. She was so mean in her writings. So brilliant mean.  Some wrote in a review that you can just see some characters from her main books. Well, why not? Writers create characters but sometimes the story they usually are put in aren't the right place for them. So the writer take an early character, make something new and write this man or woman into the new story.  And Thank You Miss Austens for making this. otherwise we may shouldn't have Mr Knightley or Fanny.  Anyway, I'm so happy that she started so early and that we can follow her way til her very best. Jane Austen was a diamond. It took her a while until she became the author we love but reading the rare early works are a totally worth to read. Her sister Cassandra burned her letters and other stories vanished. Many of her relatives wrote biographies and put some of her early works into it. I read several of them but I realised that her relatives just wanted to make money. Maybe that's why this book is great. You can read how she really was. And oh boy, she was mean and sweet. Both.  Full of hope but with reality in her mind.  I give four stars because the translation was kind of awful. Anne Boleyn became Anna Bullen -  yay. Thanks..
