Had to quit it. It was just too non-canon compliant. I know that the stories themselves are not canon, but at least they should not negate canon stuff. Now holographic simulations of ships make the deck wet, they clone onion sauce, and quite a lot of other crap that just doesn’t fit - not to mention mathematical errors, a non-Trek reading experience and long, boring passenges. It’s the first Star Trek book ever I just hated too much to finish it, and I feel really sad about it as the main story sounded interesting, but it just made my annoyed again and again and I could not enjoy it.
