The constant circling back to certain themes and images, while powerful, made it difficult to stay engaged. I simply didn't have the emotional bandwidth to endure the prolonged ambiguity and the lack of a clear narrative arc.For a reader with more patience and a different mindset, this book could be a profound and moving experience.
