Tropes – shy x popular boy – hockey romance – student x tutor – best friends brother – socially awkward MMC Shy, socially awkward nerd x popular hockey player is kind of a cliché and not super innovative, I still like to read about it if it‘s well written though, and in this case it definitely is. The story of Foster and Zach gives me butterflies, makes me smile and laugh and not very drama or angst packed, but instead rather on the romcom, good vibes spectrum of things. 4/5⭐️
