Koby basically keeps living out his childhood even when he's an adult because he's too stubborn to grow up. He misses his dad but he doesn't. Then Numi comes into the picture needing his help. His dad and Numi were together and now she thinks he might be gone. But no one knows for sure. He's unpredictable and that's one of the only regular things about him. Also, the "like father like son" line was WILD. I wasn't completely wowed by this but I'm not disappointed either. But I'm unsure if I'll go out of my way to find more Modan works. "I don't know how you people operate but I don't have time for this bullshit."
