Seven stories full of wonder, weirdness, absurdity, twists and turns. My favorites are “The White Cat’s Divorce”, “The Lady and the Fox” and “Skinder’s Veil”. Link creates small universes in her stories, many of which evoke a sense of place that is concrete yet mystical. The language is simple and sometimes quite beautiful.
