Story: 3 stars Cover: +0,5 cause the cover is pretty Over all: This was one of my most anticipated books this year. Unfortunately I couldn’t get into the story at all. The story lacked plot, worldbuilding and character depth. Chapters: The chapters were very short and while I usually like this, in this case it felt too short. I couldnt get into the story because I was constantly pulled out of it and set in another timeline. I think it was definitely not necessary to switch so often. At the end when the story got at least a little more exciting, I was even getting annoyed when the times changed again and something completely irrelevant to the story was told. Romance: I think the author intended the romance to be sort of enemies-to-lovers but she made the love interest so unlikeable, that by the time she introduced the „true villain“, I couldnt change my mind about the love interest anymore.
