Every time the author tried to incorporate a German cussword, I couldn't help but cringe. Also, the plot didn't make a whole lot of sense. Knowing quite a bit about WWII and its key figures, this (meaning the book's plot) would have never happened. Additionally, there were many other aspects of the book that just felt off. Why do 14-year-olds know how to ride a motorcycle. How did Yael learn to ride as well as Adele? Etc. I am just done with YA probably.
