Er war um Welten besser als der erste Teil🫶🏻Ich liebe Sloane einfach, sie ist der perfekte Charakter für eine Mafia-Romance. Sie ist badass, witzig und voller Sarkasmus 🫶🏻 und die Dynamik zwischen ihr und Declan war einfach ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥 Das einzige das mir wieder etwas gefehlt hat, war mehr Handlung rund um die Lovestory herum🙃 Aber da die Lovestory soo gut und witzig war, ist es eine Empfehlung für alle die eine witzige Mafia-Romance suchen und den Grumpy & Sunshine Trope lieben❤️‍🔥

I want to thank Sheri Krom and NetGalley for this eARC, and that’s my honest opinion. An erotic novella that fails in building up the right tension. In other words, the spice doesn’t spice. You can use all the toys you want; you can have the kinkiest play room but that’s not enough if you don’t work on characters and the growing attraction. You need a spark, something more than a mechanical act. Instalust has never been so insta and everything is just a mess. Sorry, it didn’t click for me.

Das Hörbuch war wieder 1A und die Story rund um Sloane und Declan hat mir auch so gut gefallen. Beide waren super schlagfertig und es hat einfach Spaß gemacht die Dialoge zwischen beiden zu hören. Zum Ende hin hat es sich für mich zwischendurch ein wenig gezogen aber der letzte Rest war dann noch mal richtig gut. Die Enden dieser Bücher animieren einen direkt zum weiterlesen obwohl die eigentliche Geschichte beendet ist.

3⭐️4🌶️ This book has twists, that I did not expect. And while it does not end on a cliffhanger, it leaves room for guessing what happens next… Like how does Diego fit into this story?! And Declan..man what a dude. I could’t decide if I wanted to strangle him or put a bullet in his brain..or if I also fall for him like a fruit-fly falls for apple juice.. And Sloane..so much hope for her…she is soo sassy and soo head strong and I really thought she can put anyone into their places..which she kind of does. So nevermind, she is and stays a queen.. So bottom line, I can’t really decide how I feel for this book..cause while I might not recommend it, I still want to know what’s gonna happen next…what kind of witchcraft is that?
