I really like this author's writing and character portrayal. I really enjoyed the book, and I'm so glad I started this relatively unknown series by this author. Although I think book 2 is my favorite so far, I’ve been waiting for the story of these two characters since book 1, and it did not disappoint! I also really loved the faith content in this one, the dog and their passion for music!
