This book was extremely helpful in deciphering patterns in my behavior that are rooted in my upbringing. Now it's time to change them - but after this book I finally have the understanding and tools to do that. Even during reading I already had huge epiphanies where I am surrounded by emotional immature people, how they trigger my emotions and - most importantly - how to step away from them, create healthy distances and deal in a more grown up way.
