It was quite slow and didn't catch me in the first half but was really cool in the second half. I found the writing style a bit confusing at times and while it was really appropriate I still had no idea what some words meant at times which was a bit meh. I loved the allegory to Persia and the persian-inspired culture and in general the topic of refugees was communicated really well. The LGBTQ+ rep was just super great. Was really nice to see it just being normal. So I loved the world, loved the characters (some were annoying at times or I didn't like but they were well written) but the plot just wasn't all for me.
