I cannot put into words how brilliant this trilogy is. It's underrated! Military Fantasy of the highest quality. There's a ton of reviews that said all I can possibly write. Go read them and then go buy this trilogy! I'm gonna re-read this very soon. Until some new books by Jeff Salyards pop up on the market. Jesus, these three books made me really happy.
