First things first, to get the genre's clear and out of the way, Yaoi is 18+; Shounen-ai is 15+, I can't get any more obvious then that. This series (based on my opinion, even after reading the two volumes that are currently out) it can only reach to a 16+, due to the ending being a bit 'romantic', but nothing horribly explict and showing. But on to the review! In The Walnut, it's a pretty good series, but it's nothing to barge in a bookstore and grab for dear life. It's just good! It's defiantly a nice thing to have on your shelf and look back at it though. The idea of having the main character being into art forgery is rather an interesting idea. The artstyle the mangaka uses is rather unique, I guess both the drawings and the mentionings of art really drew me in. Truth be told, it's defiantly worth the $12.95. As a notice, this series is not a straight storyline on a single story, no sir! It's a collection of stories that focuses on different paintings/people that the two main characters solve problems on. It's both comedic and can tug at your heartstrings.
