Next, there is a young girl dealing with her best friend's death and at last, two EMT drivers driving around the city, seeing all kinds of tragic events on their way. The Ice Cream Man has a much smaller role here compared to the previous volume. Instead we get to see more of the character introduced at the end of [b:Issue #4|38219084|Ice Cream Man #4|W. This book has the consistency the former one is lacking. It knows what it wants to be and where it wants to go which makes everything far more enjoyable and less messy. If the series manages to keep this quality up on the long term, I'll definitely keep reading it.
