While I absolutely loved getting to read one poem every day and made it my little morning ritual, the choice of poetry in this collection fell rather flat for me. There were less than 20 poems I liked, which I think is not that good of a quota with 366 poems in total in this book. There were just so many war poems and most of the choices were by white, male authors and it focused a lot on christian holidays... I wanted more diversity! And I have to agree with the other reviewers, chosing the lyrics to "All you need is Love" by the Beatles for a day in February seems incredibly lazy, like there aren't thousands of love poems out there??
