Hatte keine hohen Erwartungen an das Buch, da Band 1 schon gar nicht mehr in meiner Erinnerung vorkommt. Zum Glück kann man die Teile unabhängig voneinander lesen. Jedenfalls hat es mir extrem Spaß gemacht das Hörbuch zu hören. Die Sprecherin hat es mal wieder richtig richtig gut gemacht und die Story hat mir auch ganz toll gefallen. Die Neckereien zwischen den Protagonisten haben mich so oft schmunzeln lassen. Außerdem steht natürlich eine ganz wichtig Nachricht hinter der ganzen Geschichte. Mochte es absolut super gerne.

Another really, really nice slow burning romance. I liked Book 1 a little bit better, hence "only" four stars. Joellen was a teeny bit less interesting than Bianca (her issues could have been a bit more complex) and as a non-native speaker written forms of different accents make it harder for me to enjoy a book completely. I especially liked that it was only from Joellen's POV though! I feel like it's a super interesting stylistic device for romances, it keeps me guessing about the love interest's insights. Why is everyone and their mothers writing in dual-POV?
