Mehr FF als alles andere
Hat sich leider mehr wie eine Fan Fiktion angefühlt. Und leider nicht wie eine gute. Cora ist ganz gut getroffen und ein zwei Momente waren dann doch ganz schön geschrieben.

When I started this book, i was a bit confused and even disappointed a bit. But as i kept reading, i got invested in reginas story more and more and i don’t remember when i last cried about a book this much
After having watched the show three times in the past I bought this book in 2018 and it was sitting on my shelf the whole time and I've always wanted to pick it up but somehow never did. Now I finally picked it up yesterday and finished it in one sitting. It was such an easy read and added a lot to Regina as a character. Made her childhood more tragic since we ever only saw snippets from her eary life alongside her mother. Regina is 16 years old and the way she talks and acts really represent that, I never felt I was reading about the grown-up-evil-queen Regina but about a girl that just wants to be herself and discover what she wants. A girl seeking for love and friendship, a girl dreaming about her happily-ever-after. Regarding "Happily Ever After" the ending really broke my heart but added so much to Regina's whole arc.
