HA. OKAY. I DESPERATELY NEED THEM TO GET ON WITH IT ALREADY. Please do not let them stay actual brother and sister until the rest of the series. It's actually killing me inside. Especially during the epilogue where Jace says it and made it seem so final. UGH. Let's start with Simon. The AUDACITY this dude had in the beginning of the book was jarring. Dude just randomly started kissing Clary and calling her his girlfriend in front of everyone. Also very pissed at Clary for letting this happen, especially when we all know this was just a type of giving up bc she couldn't get with Jace. Girl, you're better than this. Thank god though in the end, Simon finally cleared up his head as a vamp and broke things off with Clary. I swear, this girl severely needs to grow a backbone. Also, I predict that the reason why Simon could be under the sun was because Jace fed him his blood. MALEC BLOOMS AND GLOWS IN THIS BOOK I LOVE IT. Best character in the book was definitely Jace. All the character development and growth he had to go through in this one was freaking intense. Dude was about to live in the streets just so he wouldn't get caught up in all this Clave-Valentine-nonsense. Everything he did in this book was justified imo. Dear god, please let this sibling romance not continue and let them actually get with each other.

girl i dont knowwww...... i feel like this was worse than the first one. the only enjoyable thing was malec. didnt really see any development on clary or jaces side and the whole incest thing was ANNOYING THE FUCKING FUCK OUT OF ME. like no YOU CANT BE TOGETHER U ARE BROTHER AND SISTER STOP!!!!!!!! i really hope this gets better because no. i enjoyed the rest of the plot with the demons. suprisingly the most interesting plotline was the one with valentine. hes an evil mastermind and i respect that. i love luke and simon still. kind of uncalled for him to be a vampire (idk what this was supposed to add to the story other than clary and him breaking up, but i still like it). i NEED more izzy, alec and magnus scenes and less of clary and jace. jace is still a pain in the ass and needs to shut the fuck up sometimes. taking a break from this series now.
