I could stare at this cover forever and ever and not have feasted my eyes enough on these two enchanting; mysterious, beautiful, star-crossed lovers :D Novellas are just a different beast, I will never stop admiring the punches and journeys and feeling authors pack in this amount of pages. The plot of this was not unpredictable, but the prose was superb. Towards the end there it made me feel hot and cold several times over. I really liked this!!!

I enjoyed it, but it felt like it left a lot unexplored—there were unanswered questions and a lack of depth in some areas. Still, for a novella, it delivered a compelling narrative and a unique voice that held my attention. Favorite Quotes: “Even the smallest spark can become a blaze.” “Names have power, and mine burns brighter than you know.” A solid read—short, sharp, and worth it if you’re looking for something atmospheric and different.
