This hits close to home.
I hate when books start slow, feel sluggish and surprise with a good ending. If i go off of the last feelings while reading this, it would be a clear 5/5. Sadly i was bored the first half when none of the characters had much going for them. A story about letting go, about finding friends and purpose and not being steered by the past. The most absurd part of the book? The acknowledgements. Sad and as relevant as it could get. A book for the enduring.
