What the actual fuck. I feel so conflicted? Don’t get me wrong, the book was shit and every single character was just unbearable but that ending?? Damn. I feel like I don’t know anything anymore. I initially planned on DNF-ing the series after book one but the end made me want to continue reading. Huh. My main problem with the book wasn’t the killing (come on give me a good reason for a FICTIONAL character to be a killer and I’m gonna defend them) but the characters in itself. Stella, I get it she’s different and not like other girls and just ordinary and nothing special but girl come on, you got like three people obsessed with you, are you delusional or just stupid? Ed is just weird. Idk. He kind of gave me the ick. Lincoln as well. Big red flag. In the first few chapters he already thought like I hope she doesn’t say no, not that I’d stop. Wtf. His chapters made me so uncomfortable. Callie actually was the only character I thought okay but I didn’t care enough for her. I’d say it is quite predictable who the Angel Maker actually is due to one reason, being that the set of characters really isn’t that big, so I could guess who the killer is. That I guess, took away the little fun I still had while reading.
