What the…
This was so weird. I felt so uneasy while reading this, and yet, it was so good somehow. Not as disturbing as I imagined, but it was a pretty good horror novella. But I won’t stay in a motel, that’s for sure 🤓

Sehr weird… kann man machen, muss man aber nicht. Sehe da leider keinen “extreme horror” auch wenn es verstörende Ideen gab. Die Umsetzung war aber eher so naja.

I actually didn’t finish this book and I do not intend on doing so. Yet another book from a male author, who has a weird way of describing women’s anatomy and might be even wrong with most of the stuff he says. Most of the conversations are cringeworthy. Also a white author using the n-word? Very icky. As other people mentioned before everything about it feels so forced. The gore, the interactions with the sexworker, the need to „scare“ or disgust readers… really did not like it

W. I. D. E. R. L. I. C. H! Habe es ungefähr nach der Hälfte abgebrochen, da ich es einfach nur komplett disgusting und unangenehm fand. Kein Plan was alle so gut daran finden und wieso gerade dieses Buch so krass gehypt wird.

It's a very interesting book and you need to have nerves for it. The writing style is something very new for me but i like it. I would love to read similar books
