Step back in time is an absolutely entertaining journey through the past 5 decades. I absolutely loved JoJo's adventures in the 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s. Jojo is a loveable character as well as her companions Ellie, Harry and George. The trends of those times, be it fashion, music and styles, recall lots of memories, even for the reader. The idea of embedding the Beatles into the story is totally unique (at least to me). Being a teenager of the 90s, I felt totally at home in that story part. The only thing I was missing, is a tiny bit more romance. You could feel that there was something going on but I would have liked it go into a bit more details. Make sure to read the notes of the author at the end of the book.
