I somewhat enjoyed the show (back when I had the time to watch TV), but Chip always gave me weird vibes, and yikes, what I learned about him in this book (forgetting his newborn son TWICE at home, always buying new properties without discussing it first and forcing his wife to leave her home, feeling like "being comfortable is for retirement") just felt like justifying my dislike for him. I don't get it, why people think it's inspirational, but each to their own.
