This made me cry on public transport. Do with this what you like, but I can tell you that I feel deeply inspired and empowered by Chella and his story. And while our circumstances differ, I still feel incredibly seen. This little book is not supposed to present you with a solution or instructions on how to embrace yourself, but it documents one Deaf, Jewish, Chinese, transgender, genderqueer’s journey and makes Chella’s perspective more transparent and friends, I felt it was incredibly hopeful and reassuring!
