I had mixed feelings about this book. While I really enjoyed the writing style – it felt vivid and engaging – I struggled with the characters, especially the main one, who often came across as a bit irritating. The storyline sometimes felt contextless, with missing background information, which was frustrating but also strangely fitting, since the chaotic, in-the-head perspective of the protagonist gave the book a unique atmosphere. Still, the shifting focus of the plot, especially its strong male-centered lens, didn’t work well for me and made the overall story less satisfying.

What would it be like if every single thought a person could have, no matter how out of pocket and borderline psychotic, would be written down and published for other people to read? You guessed it: Stressful, confusing and fascinating. But also embarassing and exciting, like witnessing a couple you don't know scream at each other in public. If it wasn't clear: I do recommend this book.
