We follow Arian after she narrowly escapes death and is catapulted into modern New York City. She has to figure out life in this day and age and also has to navigate the rather hostile manners of Tristan Lennox. While she’s trying to prove that she is in fact a witch and therefore deserves the 1million dollar prize money he offers, a lot of trouble and blasts from the past happen. Arian and Tristans lifes become entangled in more than one way and even though it is primarily a romance book, there is also a lot of room for corporate schemes and familial drama. All in all, it is very entertaining and fast to read.
