My mind is still trying to catch up to the ending! Holy shit!! Disregarding how this book ends and how much horrifying stuff happens I can see myself rereading it often for its beautiful and melancholy narration. It somehow, despite all the horror elements, is a cozy and thoughtful book? I love all the conversations and how they are written. This will be on my mind for a very long time.

Another one of those books where the summary is very misleading. :/ This should've been about a Alexa knock-off doing weird and spooky stuff but instead we've got a Best Off Stephen King kinda mash-up. There were a lot of plot parallels with Cujo, Pet Sematary and Dreamcatcher. Sadly this wasn't as original as i hoped it would be. :/
